RETAIL - Target Corporation has announced two significant additions to its executive leadership team, signaling a continued push to strengthen its operations and legal framework. The Minneapolis-based retailer revealed that Grant McGee will join the company as executive vice president and chief legal and compliance officer, starting May 31. In this role, McGee will oversee all legal matters, corporate governance, and compliance programs, reporting directly to the CEO.
Alongside McGee's appointment, Target also named Jeff England as its new chief supply chain and logistics officer. England steps into a critical position as the company works to refine its distribution network and improve inventory flow. His mandate includes accelerating the retailer's supply chain strategy, which has been a key focus area following recent challenges in managing stock levels and meeting customer demand.
Both executives bring extensive experience from outside the retail sector. McGee previously held top legal roles at a major financial services firm, while England spent years leading logistics for a global consumer goods company. Their arrivals come as Target continues to adjust its operations in a shifting economic environment, where cost control and efficiency remain top priorities. The company has not indicated any further leadership changes at this time.
