Wharton grad who used to pressure wash homes raises $40M to help plumbers, electricians run businesses with AI

Eliadis founded Probook, an AI-powered platform designed to handle scheduling, invoicing, customer communication, and job management for home service professionals. The funding round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital, two of Silicon Valley's most prominent venture firms.

The idea for Probook came from Eliadis's own experience working in the trades. While pressure washing driveways and decks during college, he saw how much time small business owners wasted on paperwork and phone calls instead of doing actual work. Many relied on pen and paper or outdated software that was hard to use.

Probook aims to change that by automating tasks like sending estimates, following up with customers, and tracking job progress. The platform uses AI to learn each business's workflow and suggest improvements over time.

Eliadis says the goal is to give tradespeople more time to focus on their craft and less time on administrative headaches. The new funding will be used to expand the team and improve the product.

The company has already signed up thousands of contractors across the United States, from solo operators to larger crews. Probook charges a monthly subscription fee based on the size of the business.
