Rio Rancho teen opens mobile coffee and matcha business

Rio Rancho teen opens mobile coffee and matcha business

A new coffee trailer in Rio Rancho is turning heads, and not just because of the drinks. The person behind the counter is only 17 years old, and she launched the entire mobile business just a few months ago. Since then, word has spread quickly, and the trailer already has a steady stream of regulars.

The teen, a local high school student, came up with the idea after noticing a gap in the market for quick, quality coffee and matcha in her neighborhood. She saved up, worked out the logistics, and built the trailer from the ground up with help from her family. Now, she spends her weekends and after-school hours serving up lattes, cold brews, and matcha drinks to customers who say they are impressed by both the taste and her drive.

What started as a small experiment has turned into a real operation. The menu is simple but focused, with a few signature drinks that keep people coming back. The teen says she is learning a lot about running a business, from managing inventory to handling customer service, and she is already thinking about expanding. For now, she is just happy to be doing something she loves, and the community is happy to support her.
